I received a B.S. degree in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador, Quito, Ecuador, in 2010. I earned a Master’s degree in Finance and Risk Management from Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar, Quito, Ecuador, in 2015, and an M.Sc. degree in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, and Econometrics from The University of Birmingham, United Kingdom, in 2016. I completed my Ph.D. in Business Administration at Kumoh National Institute of Technology (KIT), Gyeongsangbuk-do, Republic of Korea, in 2020.
From 2017 to 2020, I served as a research assistant at the KIT Finance Laboratory in Gumi-si, Republic of Korea. Subsequently, from 2020 to 2021, I held the position of Assistant Professor at the Instituto de Altos Estudios Nacionales (IAEN) in Quito, Ecuador. Currently, I am a full-time lecturer and researcher at the Universidad de Las Américas (UDLA) in Quito. Additionally, I serve as an invited professor at Universidad Técnica Particular de Loja (UTPL), Universidad Técnica del Norte (UTN), IAEN in Ecuador, and Universidad Latina de Costa Rica.
My research interests lie in the areas of corporate finance, business strategy, investments, applied statistics, and econometrics.
